With spring break approaching, the workload students are facing is heavy. Students face anticipation on If they’ll pass something, or if they have enough time to do this, or make up a grade they need right before that last day to get the grade they want.
It’s no surprise that heading towards the end of the school year, spring break is a stretch that is stressful for everyone all across the campus. Major tests, projects, and just insane work loads is something that many just want to be done and over with before the relaxation of spring break hits. But juggling it all with only two hands is something that is difficult for many.
“Every week it feels like something is due.” Junior Gregory Jones said. “It’s like we don’t have a break or any breathing room to do something before something else is due.”
Pressure in academic work doesn’t just stop there. It lies in those who have to participate in sports and other outside school activities that make the workload of those who don’t work ten times harder. It can make trying to do everything on time a bit trickier for athletes.
“It’s really difficult sometimes.” Junior Ella Rayne said. “I’ve gotten used to it over time, but man. Sometimes I just feel all my energy is gone and the day hasn’t started yet.”
Despite the stress amongst many. Lots are motivated by knowing spring break’s approach. Even though it may be tough, students are displaying resilience in order to push through the last part of the week to finally meet relaxation with a fresh reset coming back to make it finally to the end of the year.
