It is widely known that WWII was one of the deadliest and most widespread wars in history, led by German dictator Adolf Hitler. It has been proven that Hitler had taken his own life shortly before the war ended, knowing Germany would lose.
He was found through dental records found by investigators, and poison was his method of taking his life. But what if that was false? Online theories have suggested otherwise, saying Hitler fled to Argentina with his wife after Germany lost the war. The book Grey Wolf: The Escape of Adolf Hitler supports and starts the idea that he did not die in his bunker on April 30, 1945, but fled to South America.
It is known that many high-ranking Nazis did in fact flee to Argentina following the loss of the war, for instance, Adolf Eichmann and Josef Mengele, leading many to speculate and theorize that Hitler and his wife, Eva Braun, faked their deaths and escaped to Argentina using body doubles.
The conspiracy speculates that Hitler and his wife used a submarine to flee, with help from other Nazis and Argentinian officials, specifically Juan Peron, who allegedly favored Nazis. He was hypothesized to live in a mansion in Inalgo, Patagonia, Argentina, in a remote German-speaking village hidden in the Andes mountains with two daughters.
Evidence has proven that Hitler did, in fact, not escape to Argentina, but died in his German bunker. Despite the evidence, the theory lives on and is largely believed to be the case for Adolf Hitler.
