Sock the halls with jolly: Festive Socks lead the way for spirit week
On the first day of spirit week, students step into school in a comfy, cozy manner. Numerous students embrace this idea by wearing Santa socks, Christmas socks and snow socks. Many also paired this with warm attire which complimented this festive idea perfectly.
Santa’s little helpers: Elves on the loose
On the second day, the North pole comes to us with Elves making their way to school. Adding that holiday thrill, the red and green colors made it really feel like Christmas came early. Elves are known for teamwork and holiday cheer which is everything that is displayed in spirit week.
Rockin’ around the Christmas tree in 90’s style:
The third day, students take a step back to the 90’s experiencing the Christmas bliss of those before us. Movies like Home Alone and The Christmas Carol were apparent in this day’s theme. Seeing the past come to the present is one way to really relinquish the jolly spirit.
One Tacky Christmas: Coziest Tradition
On the fourth day, students cozy up in sweaters. Not just any sweaters, ugly sweaters. Warmth fills the halls as lights sparkle and bells jingle, colorful and intricate eye-catching designs spark conversation about the upcoming holiday season. Seeing students come together in participation gives a spark of creativity for others to see. “I have an ugly sweater I’ve been wanting to wear forever I think it’ll be a pretty cool thing for people to see.” said Senior Micah Blair.
Wake up and show up: PJ Day is here
On the fifth and final day of spirit week, students roll out of bed already ready for school in their PJ’s. From the Grinch to Santa Claus, these students effortlessly stepped out in style for the cold season. Spirit week is the perfect time for students to pick and choose some of their favorite elements of the week. “Pajama day is my favorite. I have so many good ones and I’m excited to wear them.”
