Changing weather conditions makes a lot of storms and weather events unpredictable. Especially for Texas, weather changes here aren’t often and usually are the same conditions throughout the year. The difference this year is the severe cold fronts moving in through an unstable humid atmosphere, that combined with the reoccurring cold fronts, made the possibility for a tornado forming high and that possibility did occur.
“It didn’t affect me too much,” Ella Rayne said. “It was kind of scary though, and our power went out for a few but that was it.”
This event to many was described as “unexpected” and also frightening due to that fact. Different sources on the media display and drones show photos and videos of overturned homes, along with fallen trees and scattered debris.
“You never think about situations like this until they happen to you.” Rayne said.
