Nyx Garibi-Moreyra, Editor in Chief, Senior Writer
Nyx, a student at College Park High School, started journalism in freshman year and is now a Senior Editor in Chief for Cavalier Post.
“[It] sounded fun to learn about news writing so I picked the class,” Nyx said
The journey through high school “started in freshmen year. My sophomore year took a turn. Then, I got into newspaper my junior year, and now I’m a senior and I’m still in it,” Nyx said
Nyx enjoys making music during the weekend. If not with friends or at Houston concerts, he’s making electronic music.
Nyx makes electronic music but wouldn’t have it as a something he would do in the future, “It’s also very out there, though having a job as a professor would be fun,” Nyx said. “Something in humanities, specifically in English more.”
Nyx lives with his baby brother, little sister and with three dogs – small, medium and big dogs, all mixed breeds.
If I could have a superpower, it would “be able to shape-shift, and it would be good,” Nyx said.
