Veterans are among the most important people in our society as we know it. Strong-willed people who decided to put everything on the line to fight for us or even just serve. Whether it be either or, they still contribute greatly, in a way that impacts us all, and it should be something everyone is grateful for.
Veterans have spent countless hours training, learning, and being molded into a certain way that benefits our protection. They made sure that while they were out doing their duties, we could rest peacefully knowing we have a sophisticated military that could protect us. Now, we aren’t in any heated wars or battles. The military protects us from things on the daily that some aren’t aware of. They are first responders to disaster situations, missions to help with the reconstruction of countries, and first aid for medical support. These soldiers in active duty and the veterans who once were deserve the biggest golden star.
Parades, honoring, memorials, and even contribution to schools has given these people the important attention that pretty important people deserve and need. Not only have these people been honored but those there right now. Your efforts are recognized, you’ll never go unnoticed, not when you do so much for a country in the desperate times we need it. Acting as our shield, the military is the core of America and keeps us together like glue.
Those in the military and those who were once there, having their own immense sacrifices, decided to do for the people. Be the people everyone needed, and they did flawlessly at contributing to the protection of society. Next time you get a chance, ask a Veteran why they did what they did for our country.
