Whether you’re a seasoned K-pop fan or just curious to learn, we have a spot for you. For a year full of unforgettable experiences, new friends, and a deeper appreciation of Korean traditions and modern culture.
The club meets every other Thursday from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. in Room 1705. During these meetings, members participate in fun Korean games, enjoy delicious Korean snacks, and learn popular K-pop dances. One of the highlights of the year is performing these dances at the annual cultural festival.
Joining the Korean Club is easy, all you need is enthusiasm and a commitment to attending meetings. Whether you’re already a fan of Korean culture or just curious to learn more, everyone is welcome.
The team is very bright and welcoming, including this year’s president Ayaka, vice president Aden Kwon, dance performance manager Veronika Shidlovskaia, assistant performance Manager Gaurika, historian/social media manager Delilah Portillo, public relations officer Dominic, secretary Julia, and treasurer Lia.
The Korean Club frequently collaborates with other cultural clubs, such as the Japanese Club and Chinese Club. These partnerships enrich our activities and help integrate Korean language and phrases into our discussions, making it a great resource for those interested in learning the language.Throughout the school year, the Korean Club celebrates important holidays like Chuseok in September and Lunar New Year in February. Members engage in activities that showcase traditional foods, games, and customs, providing a deeper understanding of these significant celebrations.
One of the club’s most cherished events is the annual spring trip to Katy’s Asian Town with the Japanese Club. This adventure allows members to explore various Asian stores, including H-Mart, where they can find a wide array of Korean snacks and K-pop merchandise.
The Korean club is a great way to learn about Korean.
