A musician with music so beautiful it makes stones weep, a girl who is filled to the brim with life even when she loses her own, an elevator that rains, a scooter-riding, heavy-metal-listening Lord of the Underworld, and so much more. College Park’s production of Eurydice is bound to leave audiences with nothing less than awe.
This fall production will take place from Wednesday, Sept. 25 – Saturday, Sept. 28 at 7 p.m. in the black box theater. Tickets are on sale now, costing $6 for students, $8 for the general public and $10 cash-only.
The play, based on the classic Greek myth of the love crossed Orpheus and Eurydice, is certain to have audiences laughing out loud at moments and in tears in others. Best summarized as a cross of Greek mythology, Alice in Wonderland and the music of The Cure, Eurydice will transport you into a world like no other.
