The Remix is an offseason robotics competition and STEAM Festival being held on September 7-8. It will include a robotics competition as well as hands-on exhibits.

The STEAM Festival portion is being held on Sunday, September 8 from 9-12 p.m. It will include hands-on activities and exhibits, the opportunity to meet STEM professionals, challenges and fun competitions, and fun prizes and giveaways. 

The robotics portion is taking place on both Saturday and Sunday and will feature more than 40 teams from all around North America. The teams will compete in a “rerun of the 2024 FIRST Robotics Competition” according to Texas Torque.

The event is organized by FRC Team 1477 Texas Torque and 7492 CavBots, funded by participating teams’ registration fees. The Remix is also a fundraiser; they are collecting bed sheets for Angel Reach and small LEGO sets for hospitalized children. 

The Remix STEAM FEST will be held here at College Park and admission is free and welcome to attend, so be there on September 8 or be square!
