Change is on the horizon for College Park leadership roles. On Tuesday during an after-school staff meeting at College Park, Dr. Mark Murrell announced that he will be transitioning from his role as Principal of College Park High School to Executive Director of Operations at Conroe ISD.
Dr. Murrell’s new job will entail overseeing critical district functions such as transportation, child nutrition, network services, health services, and campus safety.
Additionally, the administration announced on Wednesday morning Dr. Sue Clardy’s (aka Hersperger) retirement. Assistant Principal Chris Allen will be taking her place as Associate Principal for Curriculum and Instruction.
The district will announce who will take Dr. Murrell’s place by the end of the 2024 school year. Congratulations to our amazing leadership for their next steps in life.
