Conroe ISD has been ranked as the best school district in Montgomery County by Niche.com, a distinguished academic review site. Conroe ISD won the best school district to teach in the county, best school district for athletes in the county, most diverse school district in the county, and best overall school district in the county.
“I want to congratulate our teachers and staff,” Superintendent of Schools Dr. Curtis Null said. “This is a reflection of a lot of people’s hard work. Almost 10,000 employees in Conroe ISD go into making these levels of distinction happen.”
Conroe ISD was also ranked as the 6th best overall district in the Houston area and 5th best school district for athletes in the Houston area. 4th best school district in Texas, and the 508th best school district in the country out of 10,932 other considerations.
This has Conroe ISD falling in the top five percent of schools both in the State and in the Country.
Niche.com also gave letter rankings to different aspects of the district. Conroe ISD scored an A+ for college prep, an A- for administration, and an A for everything else, which included academics, teachers, clubs, and diversity.
