On May 19th at 6 p.m., the TouchDown Club will be hosting the first-ever Powderpuff football game at the Woodforest Bank Stadium as a part of the Friday Night Lights football spring scrimmage event. 

A thrilling game will take place that Friday, which will consist of two, 20-minute halves with a 5-10 minute half time, the game will also be played flag-football style using 7-on-7 rules.  Only senior or junior girls may participate in the game, free of charge, and both grades will be going head-to-head. 

Each team will be assigned a CP football player as their coach and coaches may contact players to schedule any practices in order to best prepare for the event. Even though most won’t be able to play, come to show your support, anyone who attends the event will earn a free t-shirt!
