On Saturday, March 4, College Park Senior Cobe Williams placed 1st at the 2023 Texas High School Powerlifting Association Regional Meet. Cobe secured the first place spot after squatting 780 pounds. Cobe has qualified for the 2023 Powerlifting State Championships at the Taylor County Expo Center in Abilene,Texas on March 24-25. “The regional meet was great, I had a lot of fun competing with my teammates. Later in the season, I am looking forward to a good chance at bringing a state title home,” Williams said.
