Is anybody else feeling like love is in the air? Or more like…in a song? CP’s Rhythm ‘n’ Blue Show Choir presents Valentine’s Day Singing Grams, as a way to express your love to somebody through song.

“The purpose of the Song Grams is to bring attention to the school’s Rhythm N’ Blue Show Choir and to raise funds for our Madrigal Singing Contest in late February,” Angel Cashaw said. “The message the song grams are supposed to give is that music is universal and can be used to convey how one feels.”

The songs in the Love Song category are $2 each and the “Rick Roll” is $5. You can sign up through their Google form which is given after the payment is received. R&B members will sing during 5th period, lunches, and all advisories through the week of Feb. 6-14.

If you are more interested in something simple, STUCO is selling Valentine’s Cookie Grams. During all lunches through Feb. 6-10, you are able to purchase a cookie for $3, which also includes a personal and unique note that will be delivered on Feb. 14th.

The library is also doing something special for Valentine’s Day, they have D.I.Y Valentine’s Day cards. Any student is welcome to the library during all lunches and advisories to put your crafting skills to the test and create a card to give to a loved one. The library has a table with all the cute and crafty essentials needed to construct your cards such as markers, colorful pens, and a variety of cards with diverse designs.

All these options are very different yet great ways to express the way you feel toward a person whether it’s platonic or romantic. Even if you don’t think or feel like the “love stuff” is your thing, it may be somebody else’s. Therefore simply make their day by purchasing or constructing one of these options, in the end, it’s the thought that counts.
