On Jan. 14, 2023, College Park’s DECA chapter competed at The Woodlands High School in a regional competition.

DECA is an organization that aims to prepare students for college and careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. Of the 217,036 members of DECA nationwide, over 16,000 reside in the state of Texas. On top of that, College Park’s DECA chapter is the most active and largest in the Conroe ISD school district, and on a larger scale, District 4.

Of the 157 students that attended the regional competition on the 14th, around 120 that will be advancing to the state-level competition in Dallas, Texas are from the College Park chapter.
