4 Things to do Over the 4-Day Weekend

Sophia Dinubilo

With the four day weekend coming up on September 7th through the 10th, there will be many fun things to do with the extra time. There are many ways to show your school spirit and support your peers over the holiday weekend. On Friday, the varsity football team will be away playing Willis in the 4th district game of the season. This Saturday, the Cavalier Marching Band will be competing in the 2022 Lonestar Preview competition at Woodforest Bank Stadium. Beside that, there are other events to attend around the woodlands. On Sunday, October 9th, Northshore Park will be hosting their Concert In the Park event. The festival features live music, the Presentation of Colors, inflatables, children’s arts and crafts, balloon art, face painting and more. There are new places to eat, such as Hopdoddy Burger Bar on Research Forest. These activities can certainly be done solo, but this weekend presents a great opportunity to spend some quality time with the people you are closest to. Enjoy the four-day-weekend, and be safe Cavs!
