Hispanic Heritage Month

Eleanor Kelly

Hispanic Heritage month, September 15th to October 15th, is a time for people to celebrate the histories, cultures, and contributions of ancestors from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America.

This year Hispanic Heritage Month’s theme is “Unidos: Inclusivity for a Stronger Nation,” this is in hopes that it inspires America to come together to represent all voices and strengthen communities and our nation.

College Park’s contribution this month is in the library, the CP library collaborated with the Spanish National Honors Society to celebrate. They have a Millennial Loteria jigsaw puzzle and books picked out by SNHS displayed all over the library. Hispanic Heritage Month ends soon, be sure to stop by the library, all you need is your Student ID to check out the books.
