DECA Heads To ICDC

DECA, one of the many clubs CP offers, is one of the more immersive career-oriented clubs as it connects over 225,000 members across the globe. Their goal is to prepare their young members for leadership and entrepreneurship in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. 

At the recent State Career Development Conference (SCDS) held at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, TX on Feb. 25th, CP brought 85 students, coming home with 56 state finalists. These students represent the top in their category, 40 of which were International Career Development Conference (ICDC) qualifiers. The ICDC qualifiers have been given the chance to represent CP DECA on April 23rd through 26th at the conference in Atlanta, GA. These members will compete in various categories such as international business plans, integrated marketing campaigns, and apparel and accessories roleplay.
