Recently, the pandemic has increasingly infected the workforce; particularly, in our district. Covid-19 has weakened the workforce to the point where there are not enough people staffed, whether you are at Walmart or a restaurant. 

At the end of last season, our basketball team had to undergo the huge transition of having games scattered throughout the weeks to having set dates each week. This has also caused basketball games to be set for Wednesdays and Tuesdays for the remainder of the year. 

This problem has spread to our district as a shortage of sports referees has affected the scheduling of basketball and other sports.The problem has been ongoing in soccer, as they have been on a Tuesday-Friday rotation and a Wednesday-Saturday rotation for years now. However, this problem is only now affecting basketball.
