The National English Honor Society is currently hosting their annual membership drive for the 2021-2022 school year from now until March 12th. All current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are eligible to apply as long as they have a 3.0+ GPA. Each applicant that meets this requirement is automatically admitted into the club.  

NEHS provides numerous opportunities for students who are passionate about literature, writing, leadership, and community service. Members can enter national and local writing contests, connect with other students who share similar interests, and attend events such as the Renaissance Festival and club movie nights. In addition, members can run for officer positions during their 2nd year in the club. For senior members, NEHS also shares many unique ways to earn scholarships for college. 

Members are required to complete 30 hours of activities each year in order to remain active. Even though it may seem overwhelming, students can earn hours simply by attending monthly meetings, participating in community service projects, and wearing their club shirt. 

If you are interested in becoming a member, please complete the attached Google form link. All applications must be received by next Friday in order to become a member. Once the application is submitted, new members must pay their $30 dues by March 29th on SchoolCash Online. Once all of these tasks are completed, students are invited to join the NEHS Band group.
